well I had a 99 TL and I was up to about 125. It pulled great to about 115. The CLS pulled great to about 125 - 130. I slowed down after 135. I know I know just too fast for road..


I always test the car after breakin and before toomany miles on tires and brakes. after 3K and before 10...

 

I'm too chicken and the car is too new...I've only hit 100mph a couple times but I am sure that eventually I'll grow more confident (or stupid?) and go faster. That or I'll get into a race on the highway and I'll just HAVE to go faster. Tell that to the cop! I've hit 130 or so in my Prelude, racing my fiance in her Integra (auto). I laughed as the Prelude walked by her. She was governed much lower than the Prelude so she was ticked off when the car just wouldn't go any faster. "I was standing on the gas pedal!!!" hee hee. Ba-bye. It wasn't much of a race anyway since she just had a teg GS without any mods.

 

i was cruising at 143mph for a minute or two on my way to vegas a few weeks ago. I had a little over half a tank left and also a passenger with luggage.
