The guy that was making the MM's decided against making them. He basically said it wasn't going to make him the kind of money he thought it was worth. He also worried about overseas knock-offs. Sure its disappointing, especially anticipating them for so long, but they're his creations he can do what he wants with them!

What he said. The cost wasn't justifiable... so it was scrapped.

Didn't it also turn out that the change form handmade one off to mass production created some problem that prevented the power gains that were promised?

nah i think plenty of people would purchase. Especially at the cost that was discussed. There are other mods like S/C and Turbo Kit but that is a HUGE out lay of cash which alot of people don't want to put out especially with the tranny being so weak.

IMO, there would be a potential of 100 - 200 when you include the TL-S crowd. But when limiting to this forum I still think 50 would be the max.

I'd tend to agree . . for the most part.

I'd guess a lot of the folks with headers and intakes would be candidates. And probably 90% that have pullies plus those mods and don't or can't afford S/C . . . like me. :P

I'd love both MMI and MMI if they ever came out. I'd get them before I got my headers because of price. I usually can budget a few hundred for mods now and then.
