What are your sc times?

I was just wondering what times you guys were running with the comptech s/c with auto. I'm curious because I'm trying to get an s/c kit and I'm trying to decide between that or the unichip.......

S/C will definitely be faster. I don't think any chip in the world will increase HP and TQ like a supercharge.

Then do the 3.5L upgrade. Cheaper then the S/C, and if you have a good installer, no one would ever know you have it . Oh and the one guy on here who does have it runs around 13.7 in the 1/4....

with the high boost pulley u can pull a 13.5ish on a good day with good traction, add on the emanage, intercooler and u might just have a high 12 sec car

But you're right.. the Accord S/C is a different part # then the CL/TL S/C.... so not sure how the fitment would have been.

from 14.5 or 14.6 stock, to 14.2 for like 4500 bucks just isnt worth it IMO. but every car is different.

0-60 times isn't what made me spend $4k, it was the hp throughout the powerband. Kind of like the TL-P is only a second slower than the S but I spent the extra dough to get the S. Their 0-60 times are very close obviously. If I wanted a 12/13sec car I definitely would not have bought the TLS. So for $4k(including reliability) to have instant hp increase to play around town with fulfilled my needs. I guess it depends on exactly how you want your hp to be delivered to you and how much your willing to spend!!!

Prove it darrin, post me a slip

4500$ seems ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS to me for a 14.5\6 to a 14.2.

I don't think you will break 14's with a stock CL-S in 90 degrees temperature. That day I was with 6spdmanual in his 6spd CL-S. His car have ice box and headers and still didn't break 14's. I think his best run was 15.1@92. His RT was 0.550 and 60' was 2.332.

I just got my '03 CL-S 6speed back from the dealer with the SC installed. It already had the CT i/h/bp/e. I wonder if I could get down to 13 flat, 12.9???

congrats, how does it feel?

i would guess you'll need DR's or slicks + high boost pulley and probably an intercooler to get into the 12's. throw an emanage in for good measure.

I hit 14.8 @ 95 mph in 85* heat and only like 4500 miles on the car. 60' was 2.34.

And cls6sp03 I hope you have at least some drag radials, or even better some et streets, because traction is gonna be a huge biatch. :o

I've only been running with the SC since Wednesday, but am very impressed with the low-end grunt and how smooth and constant it pulls through the RPMs. Today, I found out how easy it is to spin up the front wheels without trying. I'm currently running with Pilot Sport A/S 225/50ZR17s.

Today, I'll be heading out to CompTech in Sac for a once over on the installation Acura did and a dyno.

I'm already beginning to see what you mean about traction as an issue with the SC.

Before the SC, I could nail the throttle at 3k in 1st and only get a little wheel spin for less than a second. Now, the tires just light up - big time. And this is with 225/50ZR17s.

hmmmm....I would think with drag radials, and a few lbs less weight you are going to be close to breaking 12's no?
