My last car was a big pimpin' 89 Buick
Century. The beast went though a new
tranny at 80k miles and everything but
a new engine block at 96k. My favorite
part of the car was constantly hitting /
running over objects and laughing because
the car rarely dented (read: tank).
Every few days the car needed additional
air add in the tires because of its weight
going around turns. The latest car, an 89
Legend coupe L was a big step up for me.
I do occasionally miss the enormous back
bench.

Until last December when I bought my CL-S, my everyday 50-mile round-trip commute car was a 1993 Ford Probe GT 5-speed. It's now in semi-retirement with 120K+ miles acting only as a Home Depot cargo transport (I don't have a truck or SUV and never will).

As annoying as the minor rattles in the CL-S are, the Probe by comparison always sounded like a rattlesnake convention.

My last car was a 88 integra (276k original engine and trans). I wonder how many slick50 treatments I used??

Sold it to a college friend, and it's still running.

Mt previous was a 2000 300M POS. What a great team of designers, but they still can't design and build a quality product to save ther lives. Finally fed up, after 15 years. This is my first "import".

I traded a 98 Camaro Z28 for the Type-S. The camaro was fast, but it started to fall apart after 30K.

Since I was very happy with our 98 Prelude, I went with Honda again and got a Type-S a couple of weeks ago.

Looks like I'm not the only former Chrsler owner. I had a 99 Chrysler Sebring LXi (the ultimate POS). Was at the dealer 28 times in the first 11 months. The car had it's own personal service bay at the dealer. Went through 4 sets of rotors in the first 15,000 miles, the first set in 4 days. Chrysler finally bought the beast back. Looking to keep my CL-P for a long time. I have had it for almost 2 weeks now, and not have had a problem.

1997 Taurus SHO.Stock 3.4 V8 produced 235 HP.I modified exhaust and intake and got it up to approx.265HP.I also upgraded springs, sways and to Toyo Proxes.Within 2 weeks of completion it was totaled.CHP had the plate of the guy who cut me off from witnesses, but they couldn't pick his photo out of a lineup.
Anyway it was an awesome car for those 2 weeks, and you rarely saw an SHO on the road.

Why did you get rid of the GS400 and get the CL-S???? GS400 is faster and more luxurious.

Sure we do. It's a Civic Sedan with an Acura badge, slightly different rear end, and moderately different front end. Canada gets it because they don't get the Integra sedan. Nice ride though!

Oops! Forgot about my previous rides!

Got the CL-S on January 24, 2001, my birthday!

Before that...

2000 Honda S2000, white, bought new on December 1, 1999. Sold back to the dealer after a laundry list of problems destroyed my enthusiasm. Kept it for 1 year, 1 month, 23 days and 13k miles. It was also borderline too small for me, and wasn't a good daily driver for my lifestyle.

Before that...

1996 Honda Prelude VTEC (SRV to you Canadians!) bought new on July 10, 1996, azure blue-green pearl. Traded for the S2000. LOVED THIS CAR! Should have never traded it.

Before that...

1987 Honda CRX HF, Silver/gray, acquired in August, 1992, my first car. Gift from parents for High School graduation. Traded for the Prelude.

94' BMW 540. Extended warranty was about to run out and I could see a pattern forming of having expensive repairs every 6mos. So I threw in the towel and went back to Japanese cars. Cl was the only one out there that sparked an interest and was in my price range.

I had a '98 Integra Type R. I spent way too much money on it and sold it for $24,200. I actually didn't even want to drive it anymore (Too expensive to fix). I am glad with my choice as the CL-S.

First car my parents let me drive was a
1983 Chevy Celebrity 2.8L V6

After my Mom traded that in for a Corolla I drove the
1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme Braghm V6 (I think it was a 3.5L)

After that car started burning oil on the engine block thus making it hazardous to drive I inherited my Dad's
1994 Eagle Vision ESi (3.3L V6 I think)

After having the transmission rebuilt at 55k miles I decided to buy my current car.
