What was your previous car?

I was just curious to know what car you drove before buying the CL-P/Type-S.

My last car was a 98 2-door, 4-cylinder dark ememrald accord coupe. I traded it in at 61k miles for the 01 CL-P (black/parchment).

Well, I didn't get my CL-S yet, but when I do, my current car will fall into previous car status

Before this one I had a '95 Sunfire GT (blue of course)...

hmm, before my Type S, I had a used '93 Mitsubishi 3000GT for about a year. It was forest green and had 75k miles when I sold it for $7000. It had the base engine so it was slow as crap.

Before that, it was a white '85 Nissan Maxima that I drove through high school and college. It had about 125k miles on it and it was still peppy little racer.

1st Generation '89 Acura Legend L Sedan. 140K and got rid of it last year for $3100 after buying it for $8200, and dogging it for 7yrs, with nothing more than a minor oil leak and sunroof leak. Damn they sure don't make them like hey use to anymore.

My old car was a
93 civic hb dx with a New '00 ITR engine swap (only 15k miles on it when i sold it)
Civic R Cams
Skunk2 Cam Gears
portflow valve springs & ti-retainers
jun lightend flywheel (12lbs)
race chipped computer
J&S Safeguard Unit w/dual monitor
17" hokuto "katana's"
JDM 4-1 Header
Type R Aem Intake
apexi N1 cat-back w/4.5" riceboy tip
bbk fuel pump
nuespeed Strut bar
tokico rear struts
Koni Front struts
Plus other crap
sold It to some Riceboy in Penn for $10,500. When he came to pick it up he didn't even know how to drive a stick shift. He had to have a friend drive him home. The first thing he bought the car was clear tail lights. UGGGHH it was like selling your baby into slavery. I wish I could save it from the clear tail lights and body kits!

My last performance car was a 1983 911 SC that I sold in 1996. The type S is definitely more powerful, but the 911 was more of a drivers car until you went heavy end first into the weeds. The Acura is much better equipped and the AC actually works when the car is not moving, which the 911's did not.

Last Car: 98 Ford Mustang (loaded)

POS was repurchased by Ford under lemon law right after xmas, and that is why I went with the CL. My mom has a 99'TL, and had an 88' Legend before that. No problems with either, and that's why I chose the CL. Not as grown up as the TL, but with all the luxury. No more POS American cars for me.

Although, doesn't it seem funny;

-My Ford Mustang is an American car that was
built in Mexico, containing 75% Mexican
parts and only 25% American parts.

-My CL is a foreign car that was built in
Ohio, containing American parts and some
Japanese parts.

First car was a 92 Ford Taurus, the grocery getter w/ killer stereo system. Car ate trannies like crazy, went through 5 in a year and a half.....I HATE Fords!
Now I have a 94 Acura Legend LS Coupe. Quite a step up in terms of comfort, reliability, and performance. Stock 230Hp, not bad for a non-VTEC 7 year old car.

The old ride was a '94 Civic EX 4DR with a spoiler. Felt kinda silly driving around in a 4 banger auto that needed a running start to get on the interstate at 55 mph with a big ass spoiler. (VTEC wasn't quite the same effect as it is in the CL....) Held the road (ramps) better than the CL-P, but it was really just a city car. I still miss it when I parallel park, but that's it.

Sold it last year for $8800 with 45k on it.

This is a pic of my first car. it's a pontiac bonniville AKA SHAG-I-VILLE. This thing was like a mobil living room. The back seat could EASILY fit myself and 3 other girls. It had 5 smoke tint, 3 blacklight fixtures (two under the front seats and one main 18" one on the read deck.

It also had 3 amps and 2 capacitors powering the HUGE 15" POWER SERIES subs. I was running two Rockford punch 200's PER SUB and one rockford 240x4 for the mids and highs. This thing JAMMED! It certainly is a car I will never forget! (Banged Many a women in it) and it felt like you were floating on air when driving it.

But my last vehicle/current is my Nissan 4x4 p/u truck with integra seats

My first car was a 1967 Pontiac Catalina with a 400. Big ass car, lots 'o room.

Only problem was I had the biggest car, so it was the party hauler. Lot's of good times, but some I forgot...

My previous car was 94 Toyota Corolla with the crappy 1.6L and a 3-speed auto. It was my car to go to school and work with. Until some idiot women rammed into the rear with her Toyota 4Runner because she was looking!! I'm at a dead stop and she slams into me at 60mph+...
Anyway, it was Teal Blue with the following:
205/40/16 on TSW Trophies
3-piece Erebuni spoiler
Intrax Sport Springs 2 1/2" drop
KYB Struts
Generic sway bars and front strut tower
