Good choice, but skip that LAST ONE and you can still afford a nice ride(s).
Trust me on this.

Since she just got her Murano, I'll be getting my new car probably sometime next year.
And without any doubt in my mind it will be a 2002 or newer Porsche C4S.
I have been back and forth with cars for the past couple of months. About 2 weeks ago I took a test drive in one. All I can say is Holy Sh*t!!!!
The wheels just stay planted to the pavement. On the drive, the dealer kept telling me to hit the gas around some very sharp turns and the car just felt completely stable. And the car just pushes you back in your seat when you hit the gas on the highway. I can't even imagine what the Turbo would feel like.
That car has everything I am looking for. Power, handling, AWD, and style. And P-cars usually take a pretty good hit on depreciation in the first couple years, so they should be well within my price range (a 2001 C4 goes for between 47-55k now, so I anticipate a newer C4S will be about the same).

If I were to change and upgrade to an upper tier, I'd go with an M3 or an Audi S4...If I were to stay in the same segment, I'd have to consider the new TL and Audi A4.
Of course, down the road, with 2006/07 being supposedly a year when many car companies re-introducing and/or redesigning many of their cars on their fleets (i.e. the Acura RL, Toyota Supra, Nissan Skyline), my opinion may change again...

Actually, all can be had.
Are you bitter that no kids ever like you.
:P
I plan on keeping the Cl-S6SC for a couple more years.
I have always purchased new but that may change for the next one. Since I am always moddifying them I might as well get something a little used. My current plans are for an 2003 M5 and then add a blower.
