What is the worst mod you've done?

I haven't done many mods myself just wondering what to avoid...

Chrome door edge trim. I was getting it to match the chrome around the windows and door handle and it says it will protect your door edge. I still have it on, as its not a high priority for me to take it off, but it will be coming off.

I take that back, my worst was those rims. The offset was messed up so that I rubbed. The trim is sadly second.

I hope my custom center caps, that im making for my rims, wont be my third worst mod.

I would have to say buying an autotragic if you can call that a mod. I also tried a short ram intake but it just made the car really loud. I didn't feel an increase in power.

haha, im getting that done soon. its gonna be the next or second thing i do to the car other then the center caps. Its not that bad considering the window is chrome trimmed and so is the door handle. Ive seen a 1st gen cl with chrome trim on every edge of the car.

Going back to stock exhaust from HKS.
Going from comfy stock springs with good working shocks to blew stock shock with H&R springs. Scrubbed my front bumper like hell and very unstable ride

cant really say i dislike any of the mods ive done --- i can tell you which one was the most useless ---

Installed a cigarette lighter and lighted ashtray - i dont know why since i dont smoke in my car, but it just seemed cheesy not to have one... and i guess i wanted to get familiar with taking apart the center console/radio to make for a smoother install when i put in an aftermarket radio.

Ground wire kit. It actually caused alternator whine through my stereo (go figure) ... and I did install it carefully. And yeah I took it out.

Nothing I regret on the CL, but I did put some vertical chrome strips on my 1G TL to make the grille look all flashy... You had to cut the strips to fit and it ended up looking all ghetto w/glue oozing out of the seams... BLAH!

Although I like the way it looks, mine has to be 19" rims.

They ride pretty bad, but more than that I have cracked one and bent 3 others.

This time next year I will have 17's or 18's. Not worth the money with the crappy roads here in Detroit.

Knock off spoiler. While it was cheaper & looks the same, it has no upgraded trunk springs so it won't stay open on inclines, & wind blows it down hard. Also anyone who closes the trunk lid winds up slamming it hard.
