when ive seen em . its beet alot of unusuall movement . like the car bounces around alot . it will also make some rattleing noise . ie : in my friends car we lost a mount when we were out wheeling and the only way we noticed was the mount had broken and the engine had dropped downwards and the fan was slapping the radiator. i hope all is well

I've broken many motor mounts in my Cherokee. The whole engine actually shifts so far that my fan blades were resting on the radiator. You also get a lot of vibration thoughout the whole car.

Doesn't the car shake more than usual at idle as well?

I've experienced it in a 93 Accord I had. It was like a 'cluck' sound when moving at slow speeds, almost like the cluck an axle would make when needing replacing. I think the cluck was from the motor shifting from 2nd to 1st at low speeds.

- Vibration when idling
- CLUNK sound in the engine bay when coming to a stop or starting out from a stop.

You can actually take a look at it and see if it broken.

I broke two in my TL-S in the rear area. There was a slight "clunking" noise but I could almost feel the shift of the engine through the accelerator pedal--especially from a stop...

If the front one is really broken, your engine will actually lift up and drop back down on hard acceleration. In my last car, you could pull it from neutral to drive - and someone looking under the hood could see the motor jump up as the transmission engaged.

that is merely an effect of the combination of the horses begging to be let out and the raw torque of an Acura!

Raw torque<>Acura LMAO

It was actually on a car that had some decent torque. Fawkers put a rubber motor mount on the car - it was supposed to be hydraulic.

It's hard to tell when people are being sarcastic without the emoticons.
