First thing I would do is swap the springs. Drop it a bit. H&R sport springs are a good set, so are the Comptechs. Change the struts/shocks too if you can and have the cash. Koni Yellows or Tokiko Blues are good. Or you can just go with coilovers.
Next, change the intake. Comptech makes the Icebox which is a CAI that looks stock and also adds a bit of HPs. AEM makes a cold air intake as well. The AEM adds a louder sound to the engine.
The best performance mod, other than a supercharger are headers. Comptechs are the best but you also have OBX, Stone and Alpha Werks. All will add about 32 WHPs.
Next, exhaust system upgrade. Don't usually add a lot of power, buts looks and sounds cool. Again, you have Comptechs, Greddy and a couple other ones.
Brakes are typically an issue with these cars. Lots of power and little stopping potential. Look at a big brake kit upgrade if you can. They are expensive, but will improve the stopping power of the car. Brembo makes one and so does Rotora.
Check out www.comptechusa.com. Also I would check out the photo section, see what catches your eye.
Good luck.

Well, first I changed the tails to 03, made a custom upper and lower grill, shaved the trunk, Dropped it with a Eibach Prokit, Then I painted the calipers(red) changed the rotors to brembo cross/slotted, Custom ANSA exhaust, AEM Intake with Bypass valve, then OBX headers. THen a Sirius Kenwood head unit. I wouldn't waste my time with a supercharger. Have some one make you a turbo. But only if this is your last car for a while. I didn't do anything major cause I knew I wasn't going to keep it longer than 5 years. My next mod will be an BMW M5. than the only modding I will need is a set of rims.

My first mods on my '03 CLS 6MT that were done at the same time were: CT i/h/springs/sways and changed out OEM tires for Michelin PS A/S 225/50ZR17s. In retrospect, I wish I did the konis at the same time cause OEM shocks started to degrade about one month after installing the CT springs and it cost me double for doing the konis install and second 4-wheel alignment.
