The 6 cd player in my 2001 cl s is giving an error code and I believe that a dvd was accidentally put in it. Is there anyway to take the cd player out of the dash and eject the cd? The door that opens/closes to put the cd's in is closed. Are there any manuals out there that show how to take the player out. Acura wants $450 just to look at it.

 

First off what is the # of the error the radio is coding? The dealer should be able to tell the problem by that. Second try holding the eject button down,which ejects all the CD's and maybe it'll spit it out. Lastly has the power beenout on your car--corroded battery cables sometimes will trigger that the power has been out,you know dead battery inwhich case you have to enter the code for the radio that came with the car. I dont remember any door action when that happens though.
