what should i get this summer?

so i'm planning to doing quite a bit of modding this summer but unfortunately i can't get EVERYTHING i want. Between the following what would you guys get?

-UR Pullies
-Jet Hot my headers (i regret not doing this before i had them installed..engine bay is so hot even with the spacers)
-VAFC and tuning

i was actually thinking about getting a unichip instead of a vafc, but have not heard very positive things about it. While the VAFC may not the capabilities of the unichip, it is easier to tune and does provide substantial gains if tuned correctly....thats the conclusion i came to. let me know if you guys think otherwise.

I think VAFC's are over-rated. I had one before and it didn't do much for my a/f mixture on the dyno. I had to tune it so agressively, that it set-off a check engine light every 1 out of 2 runs. Then I couldn't get anyt throttle input between 0% and 10%. So the car would be kinda jerky at part-throttle.

I say do the pullies or coat your headers.

Well if you plan on putting on the S/C, skip the pullies. I would say Jet Hot...

You can also port n' polish if you have the cash (IM, TB, runners, etc.)...

Would the jet hot coating produce any gains @ all?

And what were the total gains for the UR pullies again ?

Jet Hot + Mugen + Thermoblok should produce good gains. I have all three and the IAT alone is several, several degrees cooler... which should make for better density.

The gains for UR pullies are 10hp (recovered HP from motor)...

Not if you get the Ultra Sc crank pulley.

Cooler thermostat ( 180F I think rather than the 192F stock one), low temp fan switch (turns the radiator cooling fan on sooner) and a new radiator cap that pressurizes the cooling system alittle more which raises the boiling point of the coolant. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, it's been three years since I did this mod on the old car.
