IMHO, He's entitled to move and do what he wants with his life. How this should effect you though is beyond me. Once again -- it's my ideal of business being business and not mixing it with personal matters.
This probably should be taken to PM with maybe a final update on how everything worked out (for us in the peanut gallery). We could continue to give 'should ofs', 'would ofs', and 'could ofs' here, but it really does nothing except to cause more angst. I think Nashua is aware of the issues and will resolve them to the level that he sees fit. For rbf, I'd take this as a lesson learned and move on.

Wow, Nashua moved, and out of country so suddenly, I personally think he will get everything worked out for you. As Smitty said, he is a paying vendor, that should give you some rest assurance.
haha he split and now no -one can find him....you are fuxored
j/k. relax. the headers are off and he will take care of it. take the rest shit to pm. I know how you feel rbf351 but don't stress it. Now you even have noobs who know shit putting in their two cents. I agree with slimer but it is what it is. having a little patience can go a long way.

it was when i contacted him after i installed them that he said he moved, but until he replied back to the post he never told me where, and still hasn't given me an address or even a country
Bummer and disappointing, especially from a long time member of these boards.
Unless you happened to have had a written contract with him with warranties or promises, I think you're SOL as far as small claims or anything like that. (Hmmm, makes me wonder if internet forums can constitute a written agreement...)
As I said above, I'd take this as a lesson learned and move on. At the $400 or so that was lost, I think the lesson actually was reasonably cheap. Who knows, you may be able to recoup some money buy selling the headers on eBay. 'Bid now! one pair of leaking, ill fitting headers for Honda J32 engine' I've seen stranger things sell...
Get the Comptech headers -- they're a bigger dent in the wallet, but I've yet to see a post on a problem with them.

I understand the frustration, however, just from glancing through this topic.... it's been a little over a week since the topic was started. Combine that with the holiday weekend that just passed and the fact that the guy moved to Canada recently and has to deal with all of the stuff he listed on the previous page.... I think you may be expecting a little much out of him.
The right thing to do would have been to refund your money before he moved, I'll agree with you on that, however, he was not able to do that for various reasons. This does not mean he's going to screw you. He doesn't even have internet access... so it will be very tough for him to even Paypal you the money when he can't even get online.
My advice is this... take it offline for now. The guy has been a very long time member and is also an Official Vendor... which is not a title that just anyone can obtain. He just has a bunch of stuff going on right now which is interfering with his business. While it sucks you have to wait even longer for a refund, unfortunately these things do happen and I'm sure Nashua will take care of you. He's sold many, many Stone Headers, and problems with him have been rare.
I'm going to close this topic for now and I'm also going to remove Nashua's personal information from the site since there's no reason for it to be posted on here (and it's all out of date anyway since he moved). Give the guy a few weeks to straighten everything out, get an internet connection, and see what happens. If you do not have a resolution by late September contact myself or Smitty via PM to let us know. Again, I agree that the refund should have occured sooner, however, it didn't, so let things settle for him before you start stalking him in Canada (even though he has no contact info as he mentioned, because nothing has been setup yet)
