bmw 330 cupe or 530 both 5 spd

 

530 cause once you get the 330 you'll want the 5 series.

 

I would def. go with the 5 series even thought i like the styling of the new 3. The 3 just seems so small. What happened to the S4?

 

530 for many reasons.
More room, You won't look like a punk kid, 10x classier. Nice white outs, Nice Front HIDs, Nice Rims. Classy Car. Good luck with it.

 

I'd get a 530, no question. But if you're going to mod the hell out of it, as I'm sure you are, you may be better off with a lighter 330.

 

They both are nice. I was going to get the 323 Coupe before I got the CL but they told me I had to wait 3 months becuase the BMW factory was on a summer vacation??? So I got the CL but I still like the BMW more. The next 3 series is out in 2005 and the next 5 series is out in 2002. I'd take the 330 coupe and get a M3 kit for it! Check out

if i were u ..i will go with new 3 series..as the 5 series is going to chagne the style soon...inside and out.. but if u do not mind the style changing...u can go with 5 series...same engines on both cars..i bet 330 will go faster than 530...but 5 series is roomier.and more confortable..

Hey Mchtypes. You had a Fuel Pressure regulator installed on your CL correct? Are all Fuel Pressure Regulator's universal? Also what fuel pressure did you set your regulator at? What was the stock CL fuel pressure? And how much did you pay to have it installed???

why don't you get the new m3 if your going to spend 45k on a 530i, this should not even be a question in your mind,,,in ny we have them going for sticer there is no more gouging and they are readily available....what are you thinking?

I thought you were getting an S4? I gotta keep up with these threads! I personally wouldnt get a 5 series because of the redesign for next year. I agree with these guys about the M3! What is your budget?

 

go with the Benz cause a 530 is way better than the BMW. Plus i like Mercedes styling better than the BMW cars.I'm not saying BMWs are junk or slow.(cause there great cars and fast) just i don't like there styling. but each to there own.

3 months ago I was in the same boat as you (picking between the 330Ci and 530i). Before Acura I always drove bimmers and loved them. I actually had a deal on a 330i in topaz blue but when I did some checking to make my final decision I decided I just didn't want to deal with a BMW at all.

Why you ask...

Because I mystery shopped my local BMW dealer service. I simply called to schedule "My" car in for service. They told me they had a waiting list of two weeks to get in and get a loaner!!!!

My CL will be my temporary car while I wait for the next generation CLK.

 

If your going to get a 5 series it better b a 540. You'll totally regret it.

If you want the room -- go for the 530...

If you don't care about the room, get the 330

 

not the same engines...the 530 has a 3 litre small block v8...the 330 has a 6 cylinder...

 

Nope, the 330 and 530 share the same engine 3ltr 6cyl. I've seen them both and it's the same thing...

 

Ya gotta love the sound a well tuned V8 when you stand on it.

 

Spend the extra $$$$$$ and get the 540 or M3.. Why look like everyone else in Miami.. get the M3.. what happen to getting a s2000
