What part do i need for header installation?

Ive seen a few places where some of you guys describe some type of "rings" that you need in addition to whatever OBX or Comptech provide for the header installation. What exactly are these parts called? do we know a product number? how many do i need? i think its been refferred to as compression ring or gasket, something like that. i just want to make sure i have ALL the right parts before i start ripping apart my car

thanks!!

They are O-rings.... I believe they are pretty much universal.. you just need to know the size....

OK... I did a search... I do not know the specifics... however, it appears that some sets came with them and some sets didn't... follow the link below... you'll see hotelniko14 talking about the O-rings.... then the conversation goes on from there....

They are a hollow steel o-ring about 2" in diameter. I carefully pulled the ones out of my stock manifold and put them in my Comptech headers. You could probably purchase them from you Acura dealer.

This place has them listed for 3.37 a pair.

Item 9 on this page if the link works

There are (3) total required. Two on the downpipes and one on the CAT.

I would think the dealer should have these in stock or your local MIDAS muffler shop type place.
They probably have a book that they can lookup the size you need.
