What next?

I want some ideas of what to do next for mods. I am not going to do the shocks until I kill the stockies. I am not changing the headunit and I am not adding DVD. I am not adding an s/c. Other than that I want some ideas... Thanks and yes, I am bored at work today.

How about:

Exhaust system
Body Kit
Wing if you don't already have one
Roof spoiler
Clearing the headlights
Cusco lower tie bar (I have a used one that is scratched up due to how low my car is and NYC streets that I am willing to part with for $20 shipped)

I am thinking about the exhaust. I am kind of waiting to find some mufflers on the Black Market. I have the stock wing. How do you install the lower tie bar???

I've seen the HKS and Greddy mufflers for sale every so often...the Comtechs are a much harder find on these sites. As for the lower tie bar...it has 2 brakets that bolt up to your frame rails under the car using the existing stock bolts. The bar then slides into the brackets and is bolted in using the provided bolts, washers and a nut. That's it, you're done.

Do you need to raise the car on a lift or can I use a floor jack - also will it fit with the CT headers?

It should fit with the CT headers...I had it on with the OBX headers.
You're better of with a lift but depending on how strong you are you can probably do it on jack stands...I say depending on how strong you are b/c you do have to remove the 2 bolts from the frame which was originally installed with an air gun. I installed it at my friend's garage in the pit he has with his air gun so it was easy for me.

Let me check around and see if it will fit. Why are you getting rid of it - does it bottom out?

I'm dropped on coilovers about 2.5 - 3 inches (I have about a 1/2 finger gap in my wheel wells) so I would bottom it out driving on NYC roads due to their wonderful dips, pot holes and tracks made by our tractor trailors. Obviously it is scratched up from this. I just couldn't take it anymore.

The roads here are not nearly as bad. I have driven in and around NY city and Westchester - BAD roads. I am only running a CT drop. Let me check on the fit and I will get back at you.

I did a quick search for you (I'm bored as hell at work and don't want to do anything today)...here is a link to someone who added it on with the Comptech headers...it's the 2nd pic.
