Thanks bro, everything has been taken care of,the insurance company is going to pay me next week for my total loss.

I am back to the market for another car, this drives me crazy,I want a
6speed CL-S,but I can't wait until 2002 spring,why is Acura doing this to me

here is my shopping list so far:
another 5speed CLS
2000 Audi s4
1993 NSX
2000 Audi TT couple 225hp

I am still looking around for a good deal

Just buy a 5 year old Civic out of the newspaper to hold you over till spring when the manual CL should be here. You wouldn't lose much since the car has already taken the big depreciation hit.

I shopped for a used civic and even 5 year old civics hold their value extremely well.

This is what I was thinking might work out for you. I'm not sure if a Honda would be the best choice because of how well they hold their value. This might actually work if you got a used domestic car. Not sure if you want to go that route though. At least that would give you some time to let Acura give a date for the 6 speed CL-S.

1993 NSX thats about 8 years old, pretty old. Get an S4 and chip and all that and add the extra 75hp or whatever it was. For turbo issue it's mostly on guys that kill and push and push there turbos. u know the racers that drive them hard and they dont let them cool off. So u should have a problem and u can also raise boost a little

My thinking on a used Civic was that the loss between now and spring when the 6 speed comes out would be minimal. So he could drive it for a few months and it wouldn't cost anything except gas and oil.

I definitely agree! I think that furthermore, the 5 year old civic would be a keeper. If you've got a little extra cash, buy that civic and keep it as your backup car for
- running those errands where you dont wanna take your CL-S (like transporting someones dogs or kids)
- or going to neighborhoods where you dont want to take ur CL
- or to lend to that pesty girlfriend who wont understand why you dont want her driving your CL.
you get the point

gary, sorry to hear this happened. I had no idea (i mustve been buried under the sand and missed your post .. didnt even know you had had an accident. glad to hear that you are ok)
