What is going on with my car?
Well looks like I fucked up my 2001 CL-S. I have 38600 miles on it. All services and taken care off. Driving home yesterday night I was driving it hard. Shifting at 6600RPM. Then all of the sudden I was thrown back to the 1st gear from 4th. Imagine driving 50 miles and going back to 1st. (felt bad) I switched to auto, D5 started to flash, my VSA is on all the time. Side airbags light is on. SRS light is on. Car doesn’t pass 1st gear. You take it to 50 miles it stops very fast and making that noise like a turbo car ssssssssss. I called my dealer and he said to bring it tomorrow. Don’t know if warranty will cover it or not. Car is stock no mods at all.
Anyone had this happen??? My motor mount was very bad. And I was going to take it to dealer, but was no time, guess it is the right time ah?

sounds like your tranny is gone... someone just posted a similar problem, but he couldnt get out of third or couldnt get past third, i cant remember...
I'm just waiting for mine to go next.

I know there is someone in here that can shed some light on that particular issue, but it's a classic "Bye Bye Tranny" symptom.
