I am going to get the stock spoiler from this one guy i know, he crashed his CL, so he said he would give me his, the question i have is, if I get a spoiler, do i need to get something that would support the trunk so that it doesn't just fall because of the extra weight? i think i remember reading something about that but i couldn't find it

 

OEM spoilers come with heavy duty trunklid springs to handle the extra weight. You'll screw 5 holes in your trunklid, one is for the brake light cable.

 

would i be able ot purchase the heavy duty trunklid springs separately? if so where could i find them

 

He can't give you the springs too? what color?, I'll trade trunklids, I have the spoiler on mine.. dealer has em, and some parts suppliers on the forum.

Sorry, no good insight on how to remove the trunk torsion bars. However what color interior does the guy who wrecked his CL have? I have the black interior and had the dealer replace my driver side lower seat cover due to a minor tear along a seam on the lower vinyl section, well they replaced it and it looks like crap. I even went back and they said they reworked it, still looks lousy. Foremost the new black seat cover isn't even pulled tight on the cushion, there is excess leather and creases in the seat. The color is off too, it looks charcoal where as the rest looks black. I wish I never ever asked them to fix the damn thing, vinyl glue would have cured my problem, never would have noticed.

Sorry to ramble. Can you send me the guys email, or do you know if he can part out the lower drivers seat if its in good condition?
