what do you think it will take?

What do you think it would take to build a naturally asperated CL-S.. daily driven to hit 12's?.. will it ever happen

Headers, intake, exhaust, Supercharger, mystery mod and level 10 tranny update to handle it all and you might be there.

A blessing from the Vatican... I honestly don't think 12's is realistic.

you could use headers with a supercharger, although you are right about the engine no longer being naturally aspirated.

a turbo, on the other hand, would generally not allow a typical header setup to be used. and it wouldn't be naturally aspirated to boot.

as far as n.a. into the 12s, did you want to use the acura 3.2 liter engine or can others be substituted?

does it need to run on pump gas? (you did say daily driver, but people's definitions differ)

do you want a full interior?

do you want to keep a/c?

are we allowed to reconfigure the rest of the drivetrain? (i.e., can we rip out the back seat to make room for a transverse engine/tranny combo driving the rear wheels a la nsx?)

a "blown" dragster would not be n/a, nor would it be a daily driver, per your original stipulations...

It won't happen unless the the CLS is given the ivtec 8 the new NSX is going to have and the weight of the car is dropped.

Even if the engine is worked out so that the displacement is 4.1L you still will run into weight issues. It might have to be a CLS that's more sport than luxary. Thus you would loose leather, auto seats, etc., etc.,
