what do you think about obx header? eibach pro and b-pipe?

any thoughts?

1. What do you guys think about obx headers?
since the comptech header is so much $$$, i'm thinking about getting obx headers. I think comptech is better but just with the $$ which one is worth the $$$? obx is good too?

2. eibach pro kit vs neuspeed sport springs? quality
eibach needs camber kit?

3. B-pipe neccessary? I have HKS axle exhaust and thinking about getting B-pipe. will it work with my HKS exhaust? is b-pipe worth money? what does it do? (louder? performance?)

OBX headers are fine... I and many others have had them on for a long time with no problems. If you can find Comptech's cheap, then go for it... but if you're buying new OBX is a fine alternative to the more expensive Comptech's, and the power increase is identicle.

Headers will get you about 30 peak HP to the wheel. Don't know the torque numbers off the top of my head, but there is an increase. Keep in mind most of the power comes up high... over 4500rpm. For a dyno, check out Comptech's website as the dyno they have is fairly accurate and it matches most of the independant dynos we've seen... so you can trust it. Again, keep in mind that the OBX headers produce the same numbers as the Comptechs....

Personally I'm not a big fan of the Eiback pro-kit. I'd go with the Comptech as they give you a nice drop and keep the ride pretty smooth. The next step would be the H&R Sports. I have these and I love them.. but be prepared b/c you'll probably need a camber kit (whereas the Comptech's do not).

B-Pipe... unless you are getting a Super or Turbocharger it's not worth it. Also not worth it with the stock exhausts. Exhaust will get you 1-3hp max and the B-pipe another 2-4 max... so for the price... not worth it unless you have a FI setup.....

Thanks for the infor guys
and great infor, juniorbean, with the details.

Now, i'm having little mixed feeling about eibach, cuz I thought it's good one and i was gonna buy it. (also, price is higher than neuspeed).
I researched and some said it doesn't need camber kit and works great.
I don't know what to do, though. don't Neuspeed and eibach pro give similar drop?
Please let me know, if anyone experiences eibach and how you feel about it

Not everyone will need a camber kit with those kits. For example, many people with the H&R Sports did not, however, some did, including me. It will also vary based on certain factors... do you have a sub box in your trunk, what rims are you using, what offset, what tires, what size, etc..... those are all variables that can throw off your camber.

Don't get me wrong, Eibach and Neuspeed are both great companies that make great springs, but they're not too popular with the CL/TL folks for whatever reason. Those honors go to Comptech and H&R... so I guess it comes down to preference.

i am also thinking about getting obx header instead of paying so much for ct headers...i wonder if garage kwai only installs ct or if they will install the obx for me, also, i wonder if the install will be more expensive...what a shame..

I've got an OBX stainless steel header on my 1st Gen. It's held up fine, with absolutely no problems. I can't speak to fitment issues on the V6, but mine fit perfect.
