What do you guys think of this CL?

Looks good!! I agree with the "spoilerless" (is that a word?) look. And the new CLs don't look anything like a Camry in the rear... they look like a Taurus :p

The car looks great. I still like the looks of the 1st gen. CL....some people thought the back of my '99 CL was ugly, but I thought it was unique. I agree that the car looks better without the spoiler because of the downward sloping back end.
That CL also looks best in black...I like the cleared marker lights and the cleared headlights...very sharp and clean looking.

It looks good. I just sold my 1st generation and I miss its uniqueness. The press always said it was bland , but i think it was very unique. The new one seems to get less notice by the general public but much more by the enthusiast.
I thoroughly enjoy driving and the 2001 is in a diffent class in a different world. The black interior is luxurious, and the car is solid. When having both for 4 months, I thought the 1998 3.0 CL felt really flimsy and light. I never thought this before the 2001 because I had nothing to compare it to. My 1995 T-Bird SC was more exciting to drive ,(hell the 86 T-Type was just as solid inside), but I was "happening" driving the old CL because in 95%blue-collar auto worker downriver Detroit MI....Noone knew WTF it was!!!!!!
