What do you guys think of
POS - yes it is.
Friend has one. I drove it on a long trip a while back. The exotic active suspension does not do much.
It's in the shop often. Last time waited weeks for a part. Even under warranty this is a big pain.
Why in the world would anyone buy one of these pigs ?

Hmmmm, let's see why you'll never see the POS in my garage. Could it be the ancient pushrod engine? beyond poor fuel economy? heavy outdated design? horrendous quality? Nah, I think it would be the ever droning tranny noise you hear at about 40 that wld drive me insane. Must my 2 cents.

Im getting mixed reviews from alot of people....ones that own them love em...and the ones that never did hate them...
...I test drove a 2003 and they seem nice...the dealer took me on an offroad track they have at the dealership and it was awesome....we were at an incline of 40 degrees sideways and the damn thing didnt flip or felt like it was going to flip, I know for sure if I was in the tundra at that spot we would have been on our side or roof....I felt like it was real solid and the suspension felt real tight....its not much of a speeder but then again the weight on the 2003 are 6300#....the reason it didnt roll on the incline track is because they have a heavy plate underneath the car that keeps the weight centered...that can also be why the economy and performance isnt too hot because of the vehicle's weight...personally I think they're built well...never been in one until I test drove it at the dealership

I have heard that the reliabilty of all landrovers is very poor. Plus where I live, all you see driving them are uppity, wanna-be, boogie soccer moms in turtle necks (could I stereotype any more ?).
I also have a friend whose job is to answer the telephone for the land rover road side assistance. After all the stories I've heard about new cars breaking down on the way home from the dealer, I'll pass on these SUV's.

i get that damn hyundai suv way before i got that shit! i would never buy a damn hyundai so you get my drift. my boss had spent 70,000$ on a range rover he put 21k on. it was at the dealer every damn week. he now drives a land cruiser and has had zero problems. when the range was in the shop, it was something different EVERYTIME
