What to Do With Roadlamps, Smoked vs. Yellow Film
I have a SSM CL as most of you know, and have 6000K HID headlights. Right now I currently have white 6-LED wedge bulbs in the roadlamps, and they match the 6000K HID's very well. After looking around a bit and realizing that quite frankly our roadlamps are STRICTLY for looks only, I figured I would order a set of PIAA ion yellow wedge bulbs, and a set of Roadblocker yellow film to go on the outside of the lense - to make them extremely yellow all the time.
Anyway, now for the decision. I'm either going to keep my white 6-LED bulbs in the roadlamps, and just put some tinted (smoked) film over them to flow with the black housing headlights, or go the yellow bulb / yellow film route.
Here is a picture of the setup now:

And here is a picture of the smoked roadlamps - now given I would be smoking the headlights too:

I like the yellow look. But then again, at night, the LED roadlamps look great. I have the PIAA ion yellow bulb yellow tint combo on my SSM. Both look great IMO, but I'll have to vote for the tint yellow bulb combo. It truly depends on your taste.

yellow FTW! I don't like the Piaa Ion's though. They don't produce enough yellow imo. But if you're gonna tint the lenses yellow, I don't think it really matters what bulbs you use.

yeah go yellow. that blueish setup you have doesnt look that great. plus i like the way the blue headlights and yellow fogs go together, kinda like a zip lock front end haha. yellow and blue make a green seal...damn im dumb

i really like the look of the yellow lamps on the TL's, especially the NBP one but idk how yellow film would look on our CL's.
i kinda like the look of Carlos' (the SSM cl up top) tinted roadlamps, but that may just be because it matches his tinted '01 headlights
it's up to you dude

I'm going with the yellow as of now, but I don't use DRL's I drive with my HID's on all the time. Love how the glare looks from a distance with the super-stiff suspension bouncing up and down.

None- 03 inserts.
You'll thank me when you put them on![Wink](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I think drawing more attention by adding/modifying lighting on a car that already has HIDs is kind of riced out. I see too many 16 year olds in Civics with yellow lights. To each his own.
