I had a 1972 AMX that was that Emerald Green color with black leather (pleather) interior. It got 12 MPG and it had a 12 gallon tank. You do the math. I drove round trip from Indianapolis to Miami and I think I had 23 gas receipts for the trip.

OK, don't laugh... but my first new car was a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire GT and I loved it. The good news is I sold it to my friend (only had 29k miles before I sold it for my old CL) and I see it every day (we work at the same company). The bad news is that he's selling it. The other good news is that I'm negotiating with the wife to buy it back. Hopefully I can get it

Funny thing is if I would have just kept I would have had zero troubles with it and I'd be fucking loaded b/c of all the money I would have saved on buying 2 cars since....

hey I race a 89 CRX si in autocross, I got springs, I rebuilt(FOR THE 2ND TIME IN 2 YEARS) the stock motor.(next time we're dropping in a type R motor in her), sway bars, took out basically everything in the interior, it has intake, headers, exhaust, and a few other goods.(and of course about 10 lbs of stickers because I'm sponcered)(all the sponcerships paid for the car and repairs usually, if not it's close to paying for them so i have very little out of pocket cost if i do fairly well that season. plus my g/f's uncle owns a body shop so if i mess up the CRX it gets repaired for free ) he sponcers me.

as far as car(s) I miss:
probably my sister's 86 Accord LX-i (it was bullet proof) we sold it with 202 k on it. it had been hit by deer 3 times and once by a F-250 survived all 4 times. the guy who owns it now still has it as a beater and he hit a deer with it since he's owned it so it's up to 5 wrecks in the same car. Plus I learned to drive in that car.

88 Accord Lx-i this was my first car. i had a TIIIIGHT Eclipse stereo system in it.I kind of wanted to keep the stereo but part of the deal when I sold the old Accord was the system went with it. He was giving me a "fair offer" I felt plus I had to unload it fast so i said "okay."

It's good to see a couple of other AMC fans here. I really get a kick out of seeing pics of peoples "other" cars and old cars

My 1992 GMC Typhoon, Forest Green/Grey. I was traveling too much and put too many miles on that truck. But it was sure the best at stop light to stop light confrontations.
