For me it was a 1960 Red Chevy Impala Grand National with 348CI with 3 2bbls with 3 speed column shift. Dang I wish I had held onto that car!

Then there was the 1968 Javelin followed by a 1969 AMX 390. Everything after that is a blur.

I've owned alot of junkers in my day, so I don't really have one that I would say I would like to still have. Maybe the '76 Pinto station wagon

I did have a 1970 Javelin that I bought for $50 (east coast rustbucket), but I really liked that car.

I have the 1969 or 1970 AMX 390 w/ go-pac on my list of dream cars (among others) tho'

1990 240SX: slick-shifting RWD, awesome handling
1995 Honda Accord Coupe: Just nice all the way around

Had I known then what I know now about what you can do with cars I definately would have kept the 240 and I would have loved to throw a turbo in the Accord.

its easier to cut and aste from a journal:

Coming home from Chili's today, I asked Deathlok to stop by and check on my 1991 Mazda Protege (not functional b/c we ripped out the alternator about 3 months ago). The car was parked in our apartment complex in a spot where I just didn't pass by it on a normal day. I hadn't seen it in like 3 months. Well, as we come up on the spot you guessed it, Little Minnie was missing!... and thus popped out the phrase: "Dude, Where's My Car?" I'm hoping the front office knows where it is because I had big plans for Little Minnie this spring / summer. I'm not really upset as it was sitting there forever, but then again, I pay rent here just like everyone else, shouldn't I get to park my second car whereever the hell I like, without having to worry about it being towed?

Well after calling about 3 different places(including the police Department), I finally managed to locate Little Minnie. When I walked up to her, she seemed to be doing OK. I miss her already.=( Those bastards at the towing company wanted get this... $745.38..... Seven Hundred, Fourty Five Dollars and Fifty Eight Cents....SEVEN HUNDRED, FOURTY FIVE DOLLARS AND FIFTY EIGHT CENTS. WTF for? When I tried to trade her in, the dealer would only give me $200.00. As much as I hate(and I mean REALLY hate) to part with her, it just wouldn't be smart to buy back my own damn car for 745.38.

This isn't the way I imagined I would be spending my birthday, (which is today by the way). At least the bastards let me get my radio and other misc. crap out of the car. I'll have to wait till Saturday to get my rims off. They won't let me take the rims without giving them something to ride on. Assholes....

None. I've owned three cars so far including the CL. So far this has been the best one followed by my 1st and my 2nd car being my least favorite.

This one is hard.

I guess my 98 BMW M3, Bright Red - M Contour Wheels

A distant 2nd would be my 96 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD, with TD05H Turbo, Greddy Profec and injectors... I miss the 23lbs of boost. Blew the engine after 8 mos - but it was the fastest little red Talon in Columbus for a spell... 12.38 1/4 mile - holeshot like I can't even think about anymore...

The M3 though - aghhh something about a hand-tuned German machine that gets me going... NOTHING handles like an M3.

I had a 91 Talon TSI AWD, with a custom turbo (it was a hybrid made by Turbonetics, had stock turbine with larger compressor wheel), HKS EVC, HKS powerflow, and full off-road exhaust. Ran a max of 20 PSI. Had a little suspension work done too....

I'd rev that sucker up to about 6000 RPM and side step the clutch..... Good for a 1.8 short time and 13.10's in the quarter. I loved that car.

BTW, I had a silver 99 M3 with the Contour wheels. Seems like we've had similar taste in cars.

My '93 Integra. Absolutely the best car I've ever owned (and I've had some real lemons - new cars, too). That car took me cross country, twice, away to college, and everywhere in between. Oh, and it never broke down!!!

My 1995 Acura Ledgen LS Coupe. Black on Black 58K miles. Only Mod's : Xtants Amps, Alpine Head Unit, Diamond Audio Hex Speaker's. K&N Filter and CATCO Performace Cat.
Much Better Ride, quiter, smoother and no rattles. Auto Tran's no SS crap. If not for Dyno sheet would have swore it was faster than the CLS. Ran my friends 99 LS400 Lexus from 60mph on highway and it walked on him until I got off it at 110mph. It ate up speed bumps smoothly and had little wind noise and no rattles. Unlike the CLS that pop's over bumps and has a new rattle everyday. Was stolen from Newark NJ and was never recovered last Xmas. RIP the best all around big Honda Coupe.

Me too! I actually miss my old CLS, and the racing stories I used to have and tell, in this forum. My friends always rat on me on how i went from a fast car to an SUV and I am the only one of my group with a truck.
