what can be done to a ford ranger
Anybody know anything about trucks? A buddy of mine has a 2003 Ford Ranger. Its the most basic, cheapest one. He wants to fix it up a little so it isnt so girlie. Hes going to do a 3 inch lift with bigger tires, but needs some engine enhancements...
What should he do to make the truck a little tougher? Intake I guess but can you get aftermarket headers and stuff like that for a Ford Ranger?

we dropped a 5.0 into my buddies 
but there are plenty of awesome suspension mods. We put those king shocks on my boys the one's w/ the external reservoir they are tits. There is plenty of aftermarket. Did he get the 4 or 6 banger?

4 banger. its the cheapest one the make. 2 wheel drive I think too.
he just got it to save money for a while but it sucks to drive and we all call him a girlie man and I guess we got to him so hes going to fix it up a little. if thats possible.

tell him not to waste his money. That truck is always gonna be slow. I had a 4 banger Ranger stick b4 my CL. I was gonna fix it up and make it quick. I put dual exhaust on it, then realized I was just wasting my $.

yeah he knows its not going to be fast. just wants to put a couple bucks into it to make it not so girly.

Slap on a turbo and 18" chrome rims. Follow with a heavy tint and foglights. Plus add lots of vinyl graphics too. Maybe a snarling shark graphic. Then it won't be so girlie anymore.

forget engine enhancements, the truck has a purpose and that is to get some work done.
get some heavy tint and bigger tires and i'm sure it won;t look girly. maybe some extra fogs somewhere.
