I just bought a set of Bosch platnum +4 plugs and they work great. Almost got 400 miles on my last tank with hwy/city driving.

I am leaving the car bone stock. Just a drop in K&N filter and some nice spark plugs. Other than that I am not into modding as I was before. I had a Chev Cavalier and did everything possible to that car and I've grown out of modding honestly

Thanks for the input guys. I will try the NGK Irridiums and will let you know the results.

I put these in my Vigor and was very happy with them. It's the only plug I'll buy ... I also run them the +2 plugs in my Wrangler (20k so far) and have been very happy with the performance. Funny thing about the jeep, my dealer told me not to run the Bosch plugs in it ... said I'd be sorry because they don't perform very well; I guess they were wrong!

I've been very happy with my Denso IK22's. Being NA I would use the IK20's.

I don't get why the denso's are $85? What do they provide over the NGK or Bosch, which are a hell of a lot cheaper?

Which Denso unit, the IK (Iridium series)?? All Iridium plugs are more expensive.

IMO, if you don't have the blower in place (in the way), don't mind wrenching every year, and want the best performance, get plain old copper plugs. Copper conducts better than platinum or iridium but doesn't last nearly as long.

If long service life is high on the list, get platinum plugs.

If long service life and close to the best performance is desired, spent the extra and go with irdium plugs.

I installed them and it took about 2 hours since I had to find out the best way to do it. And it was a bitch to get to the spark plugs in the back of the engine. Anyways, these spark plugs are awesome. I seem to get a little bit better gas mileage and the idle is a lot smoother too.

Every time I have changed plugs in every vehicle that I have owned, I go with Bosch Platinum.
