what am I suposed to look for?
So I got my trans rebuilt like 1500kms ago, it drive fine under WOT.. all shifts are mint all the time ACCEPT 1st to 2nd.
It was perfect to a tee when i got it back but I think a pressure switch or something may be malfunctioning cause if i am at say 30% throttle the and do not move the pedal the rpms will go up like 150 and then shift the gear... this all happens smoothly but stil that's weird.
If I am in tip, it does it, if I am in auto it does it, only at a certain throttle.
And if I put the car in D1 and then move it to D2 at any rpms then it shifts like butter again.
SO WTF...
where should I be looking.?

I called him and he said it's a switch or something computerized. Cause it only happens when in auto.
If you are in d1 then go to d2 it shift perfect again. So it's gotta B electronically related.
I did call the guy who rebuilt it and told me to come by his house and he'd fix it for me. But i was wondering if anyone had anything like this b4.
He didn't replace the switches, he just cleaned them out... so w/e controls 1st to 2nd might just need replacing instead of a cleaning.

I bet you all are gonna be like HE DIDN'T REPLACE THEM??
YES, in an effort to save me money I don't have... he cleaned them out and tested them. However there may be a bad one or two in there now....
W/e. that's how she goes. I'd rather spend some time trouble shooting and fix the issue than not have to do it and pay over 2 gs more!!!!
HA fuck that

When any ACURA dlr replaces a transmission with a rebuilt unit they also use the same switches and soleniods from the old transmission , they do not give you new ones, they even use the same ATF filter as in my case..
And that came from the service managers and head writers mouth when they told me they re-use all the soleniods!
