Its a good way to ADD dash rattles. I've got one coming from the radio area that's driving me nuts! But I'm afraid to look for it for fear of making more rattles.

Quality control must be really bad if they are letting cars leave the factory like that! Were you having a HVAC problem?

the dash is out to mount a 5.25" center channel inside it...
the video install is pretty non invasive...the PS2 is going in the rear arm rest and the rest will be in the trunk...
should be done in a month...
I'll keep you guys posted as we progress...

Astro...

Make sure whoever does this install can put it back together....otherwise, you won't be winning too many shows with that look (Unless you start a new trend..)

Yup like you I once had a quarter get lost behind the dash.
But Astro, that was way back in the 70's so it made sense back then.

No really, I can recognize that as a JoshuaTree dashboard treatment for the TL. Chod please DO NOT FAQ this for those do-it yourselfers.

Astro. Man, you must have the vision of Nostrodamus in order to look into that mess.

I hope that's a non scratch surface you've got your dash laying upside down on. After all the time and money spent for that conversion that would suck having a scratched dash panel!

I was thinking maybe his pet hamster got loose and had to be rescued from the bowels of the A/C system.

What do you mean by this?

Are you going to switch the positive and the negative? To up shift it will be a pulling motion? Downshift a pushing motion? Can you clarify? And why?

that's exactly what I mean...I did in on my CL at 4000km's and my TL needs it done too...
to me it makes much more sense to pull back for an upshift and to push forward for a downshift...

all that needs to be done it reverse two wies which are buried under the center console...
