Wet Bose Amp...
I found out from all the rain we have had that I have a serious water leak in the right side of my trunk. Then all my left hand side speakers went out. When my amp dries out will the speakers come back? There is some kind of water leak around the rear windshield I have read. help?
raymas, I already PM'd you, but I figure that everyone else out there should know about this issue too.
The same thing happened to me (trunk leak on right side). At first, the dealer thought it was a faulty "rear window installation." This seemed believable, since I had my rear window replaced due to 200 pounds of snow and ice crashing down on it from the roof of my gf's house during the winter ($3500 worth of damage, btw).
However, it turns out, the seal of my trunk "split" and thus there is a leak. This was NOT caused by the snow/ice, since the trunk of my car was not hit. The fix is to weld the split shut. This involves removing the rear window, which is a pain, but it's all covered under warranty.
Good luck with your problem.
