Well, that's a let down...

I want to switch up from 01 to 03 but I thought this would look better. There's only about 52 of these and I thought I'd jump if I found it. I'd rather have it in silver/black with navi now...

03 Black/Parchment

Exactly what was stated. Thought I wanted to switch up from my 01 to a 03 black/parchment/navi combo. Never seen good interior photos of that combo in the pics gallery. Caught pics on ebay today. Was dissapointed. Still want an 03 (6spd) but silver/black looks better to me now. There are probably a few other new Cl owners/lurkers/potential buyers who haven't seen it either b/c there are not that many out there. Now they can.

IMO the tan interior doesn't look good with any exterior color. The fake brown wood is too GM looking to me. I sold my white/tan 6 speed and got the anthracite. Much better!

LOL. The trim does kinda come up short but I always noticed even on the high end cars they polish the wood so much that it looks like plastic too. Did you sell your white/tan personally or trade it in? If personal, how much did you get? The resale on CLS just doesn't seem to be there but I'll trade it anyway for the 6spd. The manumatic's just a little too disconnected for me...

Man...
That's ultra pretty. Really tight. Really clean...
Bout all I can say. Sometimes less words are better.
But I could never put in the work you need to keep the blue humming like that. That's hours of detail time. Plus I'm not a spoiler guy. I like the trunk clean.
Much respect on the ride though. Why're you selling? Time to upgrade?

Just checked your sig. v8? Don't blame you. That's where I'm headed too. I'm just too cheap to buy the type of V8 I really want right now...

I have a Black one with tan interior. I know the wood grain isn't the best, but the tan has def grown on me and I really didn't want tan. I think a black car with tan looks classy as long as it's done right.

I have seen & test drove that linked one from Ebay. It's not too bad, but they need to fix a bunch of things on it. I would have gotten it, if the interior was black, that tan interior is fugly. Would look alot better if the dash tan matched. It's a different color. Make the interior look like crap IMHO.

Yup, that's my preference on a high end performance car but for some reason I don't like it on the CLS. I think it's b/c its a semi-luxury ride. I dunno but something looks off to me, like its overdone on a car that small. I'm sure I could used to it though. But on a Beemer nothing beats that combo. Maybe I'll just have to find that combo and check it out in person...
