Well - I Went and Done It - New Rl
Yep - bought a new RL on Friday. Nighthawk Black on Ebony - just like my CLS baby.
It rides beautifully and handles even better. Luv the 300 hp. Traded in my AT 01 CLS for it. Man - it cost me an arm and a leg but i don't regret it. Was great getting info from you guys on how to fix/upgrade my CLS.
Will have Eibach pro kit, ALpine deck, JL sub (mint condition) from my 2001 CLS to sell soon.

WOW!!!!!! You really made a serious jump headersplus! I was thinking you were going to say you went and purchased the TL. Congrats on the purchase!!
So i have a couple questions for you... I actually have an 01 CL-S also and will be looking to trade mine for a TL within the next few months. If you don't mind me asking...
1) how many miles did you have on your CL?
2) have you ever had your tranny replaced? If so at how many miles and how many times?
3) what did they give you for your trade in on your CL-S?
4) was your CL paid for or did you still owe on it?
5) what was the price you ended up paying for the RL?
If these questions are too personal then please send a private message to me. Because i would be in the same situation as you and i'm just trying to see if i would need to go ahead and jump on something sooner than later.

well congrats, not sure if i had my choice of 50k vehicles i would've took the the rl(s4 or fully loaded 330i)...i'm very curious of what you got for a trade and the mileage/condition on it...cause i have an 01...and really want rid of it
