Welcome Me

Hey sup everyone. I'm very happy. I just traded my Dodge Intrepid ES 1998 for a 2001 Acura CL. I'm so excited. And look at this, I haven't even had the car for 4 hours and already I found the site I'm going to be visting a lot. It will be nice to get to know everyone here.

I do have just one question. I didn't know there was a Type-S. How do you tell by looking at it if its a Type-S or just a CL? Can you tell by just looking at it? I don't think I have the Type-S because it was never mentioned to me. But still I'm curious as to if it is one.

Thanks everyone and good to meet you.

whats up, congrats and you will deffinatly be comin here alot cause this is one of the best sites for a CL. the Type S has a badge on the back, 17" 5 spoke wheels( i think non S has 6 or & spoke) has a "S" on the shift knob, othere than that i dont think theres much..

Congrats, and welcome! Most likely you did not purchase the type s. By looking at it it's hard to see unless you are behind it where you can see the "3.2 CL TYPE S" on the rear deck.

Welcome! CL-P still a great car, especially for the money. Lots of nice things that can be done and still a great engine compared to most cars out there. Enjoy it. Mine is almost 4 years old and many people comment how it still looks and drives like a new car!
