ive been having this weird vibration when at idle and in N. it feels like the car is gooin to stall.
the rpm drops down to about 500rpm and it trys to rev it self up and that when the vibrarte comes in
anyboy know what the hell is wrong with my car? i also have obx header could that be the problem??

you probably got ahold of some bad gasoline. Mine did that some time ago for one day and it never came back ! It was so bad, I had to use my left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas to keep it from stalling. When I called, I got the same old response "bring it in" I was disgusted and the next day it went away...........

Ya, my car has done that recently. I should be a little more selective where I fill up I almost always go to an amoco. But I switched to a different station. I assume amaco/bp stations all fillup from the same trucks...

Fabvsix: Disconnect your battery for a while and then reconnect it again. Take it for a drive and you'll notice your RPMs dropping to the point where the car feels like it's about to shut off. It takes time for everything on your car to reset itself to normal running. This is the method commonly used to reset your ECU.

well they did disconnect my battery when they replaced my tranny couple weeks ago.
the vibaration was not obvious at first but then it keeps on gettin worst. also it happends mostly with ac off, the vibrate goes away for a while after i turn on the ac but it comes back in a few minutes

If the battery was disconnected a few weeks ago....then it wouldn't be the cause of your vibrations. It only takes several minutes for the car to reset itself.
Your best option may be to take it in and let them know it started happening after the tranny was replaced.

Yeah .. my '02 CLS did this often .. except when it was at the dealer. Acura just plain stated "nothing wrong with it .. can't reproduce .. NEXT"
I just wonder why kind of cars the acura engineers/sales people drive .. cuz they should have had experience with this. My guess is that Acura will just continue to deny a problem exists just as they did for the first 2 years of the tranny mess ...

YO!! mine does that 2
exactly like you were sayin.
the dealership said the engine is going to miss sometime
and they said they ran it for a while and it seemed fine.
stock and battery not disconnected in a year.

I disagree with your logic about disconecting the battery etc.....because I recently replaced the OEM battery, left if disonnected for over an hour, so the ECU WOULD reset itself and I don't have any idle problems.......it's C H E A P gasoline I tell ya........

Fab: After you placed your new battery in & you started the car...did you let it idle for about 5-10minutes before driving or did you go out for a drive after the car was started for the 1st time?
I've disconnected my battery 10-20 times & it always happens unless I let it idle for a whle before going out on a drive. It will only last a few minutes until the ECU relearns the idle setting.
We've eliminated the battery issue because he stated it hasn't been disconnected in weeks & it only takes the ECU a few minutes to relearn the setting.

Jay,
Yes, upon starting the car, I let it idle for 10 min. plus my Navi showed a screen I've never seen before, telling me NOT to move the car and to keep in "running" until the Navi reset itself also. Some member had posted how to do this proceedure, which I printed out and have stored in my files. Do a search on " ECU" and it should come up !
