Since the first day I have driven my CL-S. I hear a very strange noise for a split second that only happens when the car is cold or when it has been sitting of a while.

It can be described almost like a vibration sound when I first start off. It sometimes makes the sound twice and then never again until the car has been sitting for an extended period. It happens at very slow speeds since I usually am pulling out of my driveway when I hear it.

Almost sounds like something is turning on (the ac compressor is off). Taking it in for an oil change next week and I plan to mention it to the dealer.

The car runs just fine otherwise.

 

It's just your ABS pressurizing. That's it.

 

That is not a problem....
It is normal. It is the built-in self test of the ABS. All CL-S will experience the same.
