Weight of stock brake rotors

I did a search, found no results ...

Does ANYONE know the weight of the stock brake rotors? Front and rear? Does anyone have a set laying around they can weigh?

I'm trying to find out if these Rotora slotted rotors are going to be lighter than stock.

Rotora front is 18lbs and rear is 10lbs a piece.

If you were installing them why didn't you just go weigh the stock rotor?

LOL take it to the grocery store and put it in one of those produce scales. Just do it quickly so no one sees you.

hmm they are lighter by exactly .2lbs. Were those rotors you weighed completely stock, or were they ever resurfaced? I'd assume resurfacing can shave a bit of weight off them.

I weighed the rotors on my home scale which is probably off by a little. Both the front and rear rotors have very little wear (within a few .001 of original thickness) and were never resurfaced.

hmm so I guess the rotoras are the same as stock weight. oh well, I guess better to be dead even than adding weight.

That's one of the reason I went with the Brembo BBK. The Brembo front rotors are about 7 LBS lighter. The calipers are also lighter.
