Weekend getaways....

Road trips... that's what life is all about! Got up this morning and thought.... let's take the ride up to Sedona and look at heinously expensive tourist trap art shops!! Found a cool glass sculpture for $9000 No, I didn't buy it!

But I did take this picture of my car

Beautiful panorama.
Why didn't you buy the sculpture?
Nevermind I just remembered you probably couldn't fit it in your trunk.

Wow. That is an amazing pic. Did you get a chance to carve through the roads in oak creek canyon? I think I may have to take a trip up there sometime soon...especially since it's so friggin hot here.

That was in the plans, but just after lunch a thunderstorm hit so I decided to head back. Wet roads + crappy worn out tires = Bad idea!! But, the road from I-17 up through Oak Creek and into Sedona is pretty cool. Of course, traffic was horrendous, but early in the morning it would have been great. Even I-17 north of Black Canyon City is a pretty fun drive. I made it up there in 90 minutes.

I don't have photoshop or anything. I'm not sure what the software that came with the camera can do... I've never played with it. I just have the wallpaper set as one pic that takes up the middle 50% of the screen or so cuz I hate tiles too!

Nice pic, we don't have any scenery like that in South Florida, just flat straight roads, which would be perfect for flooring it if it weren't for the cops all over the damn place.

My first time in Sedona was late last year. The drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff reminds me of Las Vegas to Los Angeles: a complete all out freeway race. I was in a rental car; sure would have been nice to have my CL-S for those hills and curves. Sedona is awesome!

Right on! Everybody can get a taste of NJ just by watching the intro for the Sopranos. Check out the beautiful turnpike along with the scenic Pulaski Skyway. And don't forget the in close shots of Lodi and Garfield.

NOTE*Remember that these shots are picked for their rare beauty and might not be representative of all of NJ. So please, folks, don't you all come running here to NJ as there are one or two less beautiful places here.

Yeah, they're still the stock tires hangin' on for dear life at 21k miles
The ride is fine. Although since I've had the springs for about 7k miles now the ride is getting a little bouncy. I think the stock shocks are on their way out. Time for Konis.....
