actually that was the first intake I bought for my CLS. The fitment was sub standard at best. I had to cut the thing to make it work. Then the annoying HUM. It drove me nuts . I have owned AEM Products on other cars I have owned. The quality of the AEM Brand SMOKES the WeaponR stuff. Just mt

In this case there is a Good Reason to pay a little more for the AEM cai or Comptech IceBox.

The hum is annoying...some people like it...some people don't...it is inherent to all short rams. The sound at WOT is way better than the AEM. Fitment is fine...no different than your AEM....i also would like to note...that the AEM has the same sound...it just happens it is buried in the bumper...so its more muffled.

AEM does produce quality products...the Weapon-R works just as well and looks a whole lot better IMHO.
I just switched over to the Comptech because I wanted to quiet down the CL and the design is the most stock looking.

i just wanted to add my

On my previous car...an '02 Mitsu Lancer OZ, I had the Weapon R Dragon Intake on there...and I must admit, it did get quite the looks from people. However, the design was crap. The filter barely stayed on, and the quality seemed cheap, at best. It sounded cool for the first 2 weeks I had it, but then the noise was a little too much for me. It did have some humming as well. I say CT Icebox
