Water in my trunk ?
Water in my trunk ?
when it rains there is always water that leaks into my trunk passenger side ? i put a rag to absorb the water . can it be a seal around the trunk, rear windshield ??? anyone else have that problem ?
I had the same problem in my old civic. There is a trough where the water gets channelled off of the windshield along the trunk and down your rear bumper. I had a teeeeny pinhole there, and water would find its way into the trunk. Check that area. I just used some silicone and it stopped. Just an idea. Good luck
yea man, acutally the same thing happened to me, im in south fl, so its always raining, one day i got a flat, go to get the spare, and boom i had a mini lake in my trunk, never found the source though, and only seems to happen when it pours....

passenger side window on the1/4 panel(leakin). i'm glad i caught it. i completely gutted the trunk so it looks sleek. nothng rusty looks sleek and trust me, if you even get condensation in your trunk its going to rust.
Yes sometimes even a slight misfit of the parts around the water channeling areas of the trunk and rear window can lead to water in the trunk. I fixed my problem by making sure the water was wiped off before I opened the trunk.
