water damage under carpet
i went to the dealer today, to get my oil change, and also to see if there was any water damage in my car, since it had flooded last wknd in houston
they found water, very little though under the right passenger seat, under the carpet and also on the driver side.
its supposed to cost $480 and my deductible is $500.
im thinking i might just do it myself. Are there any instructions posted on this board for removal of seats and carpet???
thanks

so the damage is only above 1000?? i thought it would be more, anyways ive decided to do the work myself, im gonna need to get the carpet out, and the seats and suck up the water which is pretty minimal but im not gonna pay 480 dollars out of my pocket

Damn guys. I'm glad I have that 4x4 look still!
I hope it doesn't get worse for you guys. Water damage is bad enough, and I hope your car doesn't get ruined over this.
