Said his car ran 11s in the quarter. I ask him what MPH and he replied that is was 105. At this point I know the guy is full of shit, so I challenge him to a race, something I usually don't do. He pretty much couldn't back out since his buddies were standing all around. We line them up on Sage at a light and I totally smoke his ass, 60'...to 60 MPH and still pulling handily. I back it off at that point as he was done. Of course, he does the ricer fly-by continuing on to 80-90.

No, it was on the street. Now I am usually one who says that street kills can be suspect and not always a reliable measure of "who's car is fastest", but I had to share the story about this guy simply because I had an "11 second car" diappearing in my rear view.

Ricer ETs are inversely proportional to the distance they are from a real dragsrtip (i.e. the further they are from a dragstrip, the lower ET they say they run). Or, what they claim is the quarter mile ET is really their eigth mile ET.
