I have a later model 03 CL-P automatic and am thinking of getting a tranny cooler (comptech), and after reading the threads about how some people got a tranny cooler and did not void warranty and some people saying that if you do get it, then it would void the warranty.

I talked to Ant and he said that mods wouldn't void the warranty except for turbo or s/c which would void the drivetrain. But right now i am only interested in getting the tranny cooler, and I need to find a dealer that would be cool with me getting it installed and not voiding my warranty.

Does anyone know of any dealers near the San Gabriel (626) area where this could be done, or anywhere else within the LA area. I will also be moving to Riverside soon, so anywhere near there would be cool too.

 

Do you have any other mods to your car?

If not, why bother with the CT Tranny cooler? Just get the warranty repair done by Acura and you should be in good shape.

 

no i dont have any mods on my car, its all stock. I got it ony a few weeks ago.
