want to get out of the CLS any advice?
Hey Everyone, as you can see I rarely post although I check the site everyday for information, but I need some advice... I have a 02 bone stock+ OEM spolier CLS w/ 34,000 miles. The car is a lease with 7 months to go. my lease is $399 w/ 15k year.
Here is my siuation.. I'm a little tired of the CL and want to get a new car after the summer. I contact AHF to see what a payoff would be ,they quoted $20,240, now I know that no dealer will give me that, so any suggestions? Should I just wait till I have 4 or 5 months left and try to negotiate with diffeent dealers, to buyout the remaining months?( I did this on my last lease) should I just write a check for $399x whatever the months?
I'm thinking about the TL, TSX( if it only had 40more horses) or the Infinit FX-35
Thanks

well...
If your thinking of a tl--(and if you drive the tsx/tl back to back you WILL be thinking about a tl) I would check out Turnersville acura in nj...they offered me decent money on my cls and are selling the TL highly discounted. Ask for Von...

Just keep the car for 7 more months !
it is not worth to trade it in case the value will be lower than the residual anyways.
Also, paying the remaining amount of the lease in advance sounds moronic. How are you gonna pay for something you wont use anymore.
In seven months you will pretty much look into 2005 models and 2004 leftovers with very good deals.

Seven months isn't a lot of time. Keep the thing! Turn it in at the end and save yourself some money. If you really want to trade it, try to see what the dealer will give you for it (or sell it). Your back even point would be $17,447 (20240 - 2793 in payments). All you would really be losing is the 7 months of driving the car. Anyway, this is why I don't lease cars.
