Want to add a SC to a 2001 CL-S...
Can anyone illustrate the costs and steps to take in performing this task ? The ups and downs beside the obvious. Thanx

www.comptechusa.com. There is also one in the Black Market for sale. It's a bit damaged, but fixable.

Don't pay attention to those guys ^ they are pulling your chain, but seriously you will need one of these kits to keep your lights cool when your S/C comes on and the friction from the generated heat causes the lights to get hot and burn the lenses off:

doublern2003 - all joking aside, the supercharger for our cars are made by Comptech. Check out their website. Your best bet is to but one that is used. The new ones are expensive.
Also, there is a custom turbo kit made by allmotor_2000. PM him for more information.
What other mods do you have so far.

your looking at about 5000 dollars after all is said and done to do it right.
if you can find a good deal that is, on a sc ill break it down
Comptech SC - 3500
Gauges (I used fuel pressure and boost) - 250
Battery 51R - 50
Greddy Emanage - 400 (more or less depending where u buy it)
Headers are a must- 400
-------------------------------------------------------
Tax and installation puts you around 5000-5500
Like I said it adds up real quick real fast. Especially when you start tuning
