I have a fairly lightly moded Auto CLS, (Intake/Headers), and I ran a 9.31 1/8th (which equates to about a 14.4) at E-Town.
A 14.4 with just i/h. Wow is that possible? I've heard of some guys hitting low 14's with i/h/e/pullies.

pulleys and exhaust doesnt add shit. And yes, in cooler weather a CLS auto can do low 14s with just I/H

Actually I wasn't doubting it, just asking. That's a very good time considering it's an auto CL-S. I'd have to disagree with Crazy Sellout though. I agree that exhaust doesn't help as much as intake or headers, but the pullies did have a noticeable gain. They would of course have to be UR pullies since they come with the crank pulley. I don't think an alt and ps pulley would yield much gain.

the pulleys helped me shave a 1/10th or two. didn't mean to come off short by calling you bud. next time i'll say Doom.

Yeah no prob. I ain't here to start trouble or anything.

About the pullies only shaving off a 1/10th. The first time I went to the track my best time was a 15.7 (i/h/e/coilovers). The next time I went to the track I had added the UR pullies and got the TL-S wheels/tires. My best time was a 16.6 that night! Does that mean UR pullies and larger wheels make me a second slower. Probably not that much. However all the conditions might've been different like temp, humudity, etc. I believe you could've seen a better gain of your time if you did the install that same night (I know it was impossible because it wasn't available). The reason why I think the UR pullies would give more than a gain of .1 is because other than the headers, man that and the pullies I REALLY felt. Now according to Viper (Accordv6.com member) he got a 20 whp/ 20 lbft gain from the stock pullies to the UR ones. What UR doesn't show is that his previous dyno was 6 months old. So it probably won't give 20/20 as advertised. My point to the mess I just typed is that the it's really hard to prove how good each mod made us run. However when your butt feels it, and not your brain like the loudness of an intake/exhaust, it's gotta be double digit hp/tq gain.

I'm down if you want to come to NY. I beat my friends 330 by about half a car.

Yes, I ran a 9.31 (1/8th) with only I/H. Here is the info from the slip:
http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=86845
R/T: 1.137
60': 2.299
1/8: 9.318
MPH: 78.33

I did it at the Acura wars meet at E-Town in November. A large number of fellow ACL members were there: Xeon, Lou, Scooter, Zapata, RobG, Shawn etc. I ran the 9.31 against an RSX. We only ran the 1/8th because of dangerous wind conditions.

The 14.4 is an estimate due to other CL's that ran close to a 14.4 had a ~9.3 1/8th.

Jimcol ran a 14.3 with JUST OBX Headers. Headers and cool weather make a BIG difference.

I don't BS... I can look for and scan the slip to prove it if necessary

I believe you dude. I definitely ain't calling BS. One of the biggest difference between 6th gen Accords and CL-S are the cams. With the VTEC-E (economy) cam that the Accord has it doesn't respond to mods too well. Shaving off a whole second with cold weather and one mod on an Accord is impossible. Yes I want a 7th gen.

I'm banking on the fact that he likes his clutch, and won't do any better than high 14's

Wanna race my Accord? Dude, strap the kids in and make it to Wal-Mart safely okay. If you want a car to race, should have gotten a WRX or 350Z or something.

I wouldn't mind that new Accord V6 6speed for some racing. Should be able to hit 12's with bolt ons and nitrous. Pay less insurance then WRX and the Z. And not have a high car payment so I can take the kids to church, dinner, and Saturday nights at Wal Mart.

I heard a rumor that Honda is using the 5 speed autos from Acura in the new Accords.

That's true about the trannies. No sport shift though.

I got a friend but he's 19. He pays $500 monthly.
