Walbro Fuel Pump Part Number

Im looking for the Walbro fuel pump for my CL. Does anyone know the part number or the model it comes out of?

I searched and the only pumps for the CL I could find are the 1st gen CLs. Will that work?

BTW, if anyone has used the Walbro website, Im sure you will agree that it is horrible.

yeah i have tried there site and it sucks

but anyways i remember seeing somewhere that they actually only make a couple of different pumps that would work for us (like 3-4 different inlet/outlet configs, with a couple of different flow rates available)

and the main difference between the different part numbers were mainly for what fitting kit it included

let me try and find it again

The thread below has the part # for the S/C application if that's along the lines of what you're looking for.

Thanks guys.

I researched alittle further and saw that the pump that works is the GSS342 (255lph High Pressure model). The only difference is the install kits for various cars.

Ive read that the strainer supplied with the pump isnt that great (starvation issues), so its reccomended to use an OEM strainer.

Here's an extract from the Comptech SC Installation Manual outlining the fuel pump replacement with a Walbro. I think CT did a pretty good and clear set of instructions.

so what part number did you use for the pump???

but also for civic it would not hurt to change out the fuel filter at the same time, might as well since you are in there, and since you want to make sure it does not go lean from a lack of fuel
