vtech problem

Question vtech problem

01 cls auto
i notice today that the vtech of my car is opening around 5000rpm why is this happening ? if im not mistake is supose to open around 3800 rpm right ?

4800 is when the flux capacitor kicks in. that explains the 5000 you were reading.

make sure your actuator is working. have a friend rev the engine past 4200 and see if the servo works.

What RPM does VTEC engage?
Type S: 4800 RPM
Type P: 5500 RPM
Sounds like it's working perfectly fine to me...

dude, sorry to say this, but, you're going to be an easy target for fun if you continue to be gullable

the VTEC cross-over is so smooth sometimes it's hard for a (untrained) person to feel it, and please use the search box next time... type "hesitation" or "vtec"

Sounds like it's working perfectly fine to me...

According to Honda, VTEC on the CL-P engages at 4400rpm, not 5500rpm. Not to be a dick or anything, thought i'd just clear that up though.

I thought the second air pluem opened at 3800, and vtec at 4800
