VTEC engagement...

VTEC engagement... from what I noticed today is 4800 RPM, The sound of the VTEC engagement is so evident now I do not recommend adding a CAI for those who prefer the quietness of the Stock Just kidding it is not that annoying, is sounds like your pistons are jammed, Oh, yeah, Scarry for some

No rubbing anymore, after I retightened the rings holding the CAI to the throtle body, the Injen CAI is clear from any contact with frame. So, far so good.

The IMRC, intake plenum valves, open at 3800 revs. The VTEC change over occurs at 4800 revs in the CL-S.

Remember, you can watch the IMRC at work by having someone revs the engine while in park. The sound at 4800 is the cam lobe following change.
