Vtec ?
Haha indeed. I heard that there are Honda guys who have been able to tune the motors so that the V-tech kicks in sooner. Anyone heard of that? Don't know if its true or not...
yup. you can to make vtec kick in sooner. at your own risk tho. you shouldn't go too far down without tuning. maybe increments of 100rpm or so.
well the argument is that honda engineers have chosen the vtec engagment points for a reason i.e. being the point that gives the most power. messing with that point might be more harmful then beneficial.

yea you boyz definitely got a good point about dropping the vtec thing. Ironically it's EXTREMELY reliable on motors and never seems to give people problems. At least on the 5 cars I know with vtec my friends and family have.
I think I'll accept that slowness after 3rd for the reliability. not like I get there every day.
