do any other car besides the CL scream like a mofo up top for around 30K, my dada has a max.. it is quick but doesn't make ne noise niether does the G. i have been in the Z but i doesn't scream it more humms. i no there is the s2k but it has no tourque. nething else sound great up top... STI ... EVO ?

 

vtec is the 8th wonder of the world.

 

I concur...damn, it's strange how this particular engine sounds so good when vtec engages..I don't think I've heard better...not even in a V8 LEXUS GS400!

perhaps it's a gimmick

 

the gs roars all the way up to redline, where as our engine sounds economical till vtec hits. i like vtec sound but the gs sound is mesmerizing!

i heard about an NSX concept with 400hp, 400 lbs-ft of tourque (partial electric motor 4 tourque)

 

Yeah Vtec is awesome sound. Me and a friend of mine exchange cars the other day, because I wanted to hear the car from the ourside when Vtec engaged. We got side by side at 25 mph and I told him to stomp it (5 a/t), I was like WOAH that shit sounded sooo cool. I have AEM CAI so it was loud!

 

But the NSX weighs a crap load less than out cars

 

I love the VTEC on my first gen.....you're just cruising along...3500RPM.....you mash on it, breaks in 4000.....
